Reign Fall to Condors, 3-1

Bakersfield, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, fell to the Bakersfield Condors 3-1 before 6,331 at Rabobank Arena Friday night.

After a scoreless first period, the Condors took a 2-0 lead in the second on goals by Bobby Robins at 3:03 and Stephane Goulet at 11:44. James McEwan tipped Luke Beaverson's slap shot past Brian Stewart at 13:30 to cut the Condors' lead to 2-1.

Phil Paquet re-established a two-goal lead for Bakersfield at 7:18 of the third period, and the Condors went on to beat Ontario, 3-1.

Jase Weslosky absorbed the loss with 35 saves while Stewart stopped 23 shots for the win.
