IN JUST A FEW HOURS...

The Elmira Jackals battle the Atlantic Division-leading Reading Royals at 7:05 p.m. at the Sovereign Center. The meeting is the 13th of 15 between the two teams this season and the first since the Jackals staged a dramatic two-goal comeback in the third period on Feb. 26 to beat the Royals, 5-4, at First Arena. Elmira comes off of a 3-2 shootout win on Wednesday over Trenton that saw the Jackals extend their point streak to a season-long six games (4-0-0-2).

ANOTHER ONE-GOAL GAME

All six games during Elmira's six-game point streak have been one-goal decisions. The Jackals are 14-9-6-3 in one-goal games this season and are 6-0-0-2 in one-goal games under Robbie Nichols.

JACKALS TIED FOR FIFTH

The Jackals enter the action tonight tied for fifth in the Eastern Conference standings with the Wheeling Nailers at 69 points. Elmira has a game in hand on Wheeling and two games in hand on the fourth-place South Carolina Stingrays, who are four points ahead of the Jackals.
