Today's Game: The RedHawks will look to rebound after suffering their first loss when leading after eight innings when they meet the Storm Chasers at 7:05 p.m.
Last Game: Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the ninth, the Storm Chasers stunned the RedHawks with two runs to win 2-1. With runners at first and second with one out, Omaha's Adam Moore appeared to hit into a potential game-ending double play, but Jake Elmore's relay throw to first base was errant, allowing the tying run to score. Two batters later with runners at the corners, RedHawks closer Jose Valdez (3-1) committed a balk, bringing home the winning run. The RedHawks scored their only run on a wild pitch in the first inning and were held to just three hits--a season-low for a nine-inning game. Starting pitcher Asher Wojciechowski was magnificent over seven scoreless innings, scattering four hits with a walk and five strikeouts.
