Reno Aces News Release
RENO, Nev.-Tony Campana recorded his second-straight two-RBI game on Friday night, as the Reno Aces ended an eight-game losing skid with a 3-1 victory over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
Campana went 3-for-4 with a run scored. His first of two RBI doubles on the night put Reno on the board for the first time in the fifth.
At the dish for Reno, Matt Davidson and Evan Frey also recorded a multi-hit game. Frey's go-ahead triple in the fifth secured the win for the Aces.
Despite giving up six walks, Aces starter Mike Bolsinger dealt a quality start en route to his first win for Reno this season. The righty gave up just one run-a solo home run in the second-while striking out seven through 6.0 innings.
The Aces bullpen did not allow a hit or run through the final 3.0 innings. Chaz Roe came on in the ninth, and recorded just the sixth Reno save this season.
The series continues on Saturday night at Aces Ballpark. RHP Randall Delgado (1-4, 6.84) gets the nod for Reno, while the Sky Sox will counter with RHP Cory Riordan (3-1, 6.75 ERA). First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. and 2,000 lucky fans will receive a replica jersey presented by Dillard's.
Tickets are on sale for Saturday's game, and all Aces home games, at RenoAces.com, by calling (775) 334-7000 or by visiting the Aces Ballpark Ticket Office.
