RedHawks Sign Deminsky, Release Di Napoli

FARGO, ND - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have signed LHP David Deminsky and released RHP Nick Di Napoli. Deminsky will be in uniform today as the RedHawks close out a three-game series with the Gary SouthShore RailCats at Newman Outdoor Field.

Deminsky, 24, pitched last season in the Minnesota Twins organization after being selected by the Twins in the 44th round of the 2010 draft out of St. Cloud (MN) State University. With the Gulf Coast League Twins, Deminsky was 3-3 with a 2.70 ERA in ten games (eight starts). He was promoted to Fort Myers of the Florida State League (A), where he went 0-0 with a 6.55 ERA in two starts. Overall in 2010, he was 3-3 with a 3.36 ERA and struck out 59 batters in 64.1 innings pitched. Deminsky is a native of Sartell, MN.

Di Napoli was 1-0 with a 6.75 ERA in 12 relief appearances for Fargo-Moorhead this season.
