Gary SouthShore 11, Fargo-Moorhead 5

Gary SouthShore scored eight runs over the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to break a 3-3 tie and defeat the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 11-5. RailCats C Craig Maddox went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and a RBI while LF Adam Klein collected three hits and drove in three runs. Gary SouthShore starter Nolan Nicholson won his second game of the season after giving up three earned runs on 10 hits in five innings pitched. For the RedHawks in defeat, CF Nic Jackson went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBIs.

Winnipeg 8, Sioux Falls 2

Winnipeg rolled out to a 6-0 lead after three innings and would roll to an 8-2 win over the Sioux Falls Pheasants. Goldeyes 2B Price Kendall went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and 1B Brian Myrow hit his fourth home run of the season with three RBIs. Winnipeg reliever Chad Benefield allowed one walk and two hits over three innings to collect the win. C Henry Contreras launched his third home run of the season for Sioux Falls.
