Today's Game: The RedHawks and Express play for the second time in their current four-game series at 7:05 p.m. The RedHawks now trail the Express by one game for first place in the American Southern Division after falling last night.

Last Game: Three of Round Rock's 13 hits were home runs in an 11-2 win against Oklahoma City in front of a sellout crowd Friday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Express jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the third inning that started with Jim Adduci's home run to right-center field and would later include three straight bases-loaded walks. The RedHawks scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning on an RBI single from Brett Wallace and on a sac fly by Justin Maxwell. Round Rock answered right back in the fifth with a Joey Butler two-run homer. Engel Beltre added a solo shot in the sixth. RedHakwks pitcher Ross Seaton (2-6) allowed a career-high 10 runs on 10 hits, walked six and struck out three over five innings in the loss.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Jarred Cosart will seek to stabilize a recently slumping pitching staff...Cosart ranks 10th in the PCL in ERA (3.39), third in opponent batting average (.202), and fifth in strikeouts per nine innings (9.61). However, he's also third in walks (38)...He paces the RedHawks pitching staff with five wins this season, but has suffered losses in three of his last five starts...In his last start Sunday in Omaha, Cosart was charged with four runs over five-plus innings. He had allowed just one run and two hits over the first five innings, but left after walking each of the first three batters of the sixth, all of which would later score...After posting a 2.08 ERA over first eight outings (seven starts), Cosart has a 5.47 ERA over his last five starts...He's held opponents to three hits or less in seven of 13 appearances and opponents are batting just .173 with runners on base...Cosart is 3-0 with a 2.70 ERA in six games (five starts) at home this season.

Against the Express: 2013: 2-3 2012: 10-6 All-time: 70-62 In OKC: 36-33

The Express has already won more games (3) in Oklahoma City than it did all of last season (2)...Round Rock has homered six times in five games while the RedHawks have yet to go deep...The RedHawks and Express split a four-game series in Oklahoma City April 16-19...The RedHawks hit .309 as a team in the series. Marc Krauss went 6-for-12 with three doubles, and five RBI...Oklahoma City won 10 of 16 meetings with the Express in 2012...14 of the last 18 games between the teams have been decided by three runs or less, including seven by one or two runs...The RedHawks have not lost the season series in five of the last six years...Round Rock is once again led by Bobby Jones, the legendary RedHawks skipper who compiled 595 wins and five division titles over eight seasons. He also managed the team when they were the 89ers in 1993-1994.

Express Goes off the Rails: The 10 runs allowed by RedHawks starting pitcher Ross Seaton Friday were the most allowed by an Oklahoma City starter since Dallas Keuchel gave up 12 runs on 13 hits May 19, 2012 at Reno and the most one pitcher has allowed at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark since July 28, 2011 when Nelson Figueroa gave up 10 runs on 12 hits in a 13-2 loss against Nashville. The 11 total runs allowed by the RedHawks Friday were the most allowed at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark since a 12-5 loss to Omaha July 31, 2012 and the most given up by Oklahoma City overall since a 12-2 loss April 23 this season at Albuquerque. The nine-run defeat was also their largest at home this season and the widest margin since an 11-1 loss against Omaha on July 23, 2012.

To the Max: Astros outfielder Justin Maxwell continued his rehab assignment last night by going 0-for-3 with an RBI. He's now 2-for-8 with two RBI over two games for the RedHawks. Before joining the RedHawks, Maxwell had been rehabbing with Double-A Corpus Christi, where he went 1-for-21 over six games. He's been on the Disabled List with a fractured left hand since April 24.

Valiant Villar: Jonathan Villar notched his team-leading 23rd multi-hit game of the season Friday, going 2-for-4 with a double and run scored. After a .238 average in May, Villar is off to a .350 start through 14 games in June. The league leader in steals (24) is also a perfect 9-for-9 in stolen base attempts this month.

Booming Brett: Brett Wallace has hit safely in all five games of the current homestand, going 8-for-20. Wallace leads the RedHawks with a .313 batting average and is tied with Marc Krauss for the team lead in home runs (9), RBI (34), and multi-RBI games (9).

Moolighting on the Mound: RedHawks position players Andy Simunic and Che-Hsuan Lin both pitched last night. Simunic, who started in right field, threw 1.1 innings, walking two and allowing one hit. The appearance was his first since throwing in one game for the Lancaster JetHawks Aug. 2, 2011 at Bakersfield. He had to leave the game due to injury in the ninth inning. Lin replaced Simunic and threw five pitches for the final two outs of the game in his first career pitching appearance. It's the first time two RedHawks position players have pitched in one game since Tom Gregorio and Adam Morrissey on Aug. 2, 2006. The duo combined to toss three scoreless innings in a 7-6 win in 11 innings over Las Vegas.

Don't Walk: Last night was the first time since May 9 vs. Tacoma the RedHawks did not draw a walk. They are fourth in the league with 271 walks this season.

Out-Homered at Home: The RedHawks have allowed at least one home run in six straight games, tying a season high. They have allowed 10 dingers through the first five games of the homestand. Opponents had hit only 20 home runs through the first 26 games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Double Play Dearth: The RedHawks turned two double plays last night after having turned just one in their previous eight games.
