
Redbirds Ready to Celebrate Independence Day Weekend Series

Starting tonight, July 1st the Memphis Redbirds will host a 3-game series at AutoZone Park against the Round Rock Express. The game starts at 7:05pm and features our Mug Club. For just $30, fans will receive a Club level seat, a commemorative Redbirds mug, vouchers for 2 Coors Light draft beers, and discounted beers after that for the remainder of the game. Mug Club participants can also bring their mug to BB Kings and Kooky Canuck after the game for special drink prices.
The first 1,500 fans through the gates on Friday will receive a team set of Redbird trading cards presented by DiGiorno. Fans can also play Waste Management Launch-A-Ball after the game with proceeds benefiting the RBI and STRIPES programs. Game time is 7:05pm.
Saturday's 6:05pm game celebrates Independence Day with a Salute to Armed Forces Night and post-game fireworks presented by USO Banking, only at Bank of America. Show any military ID (active duty, retired or dependent) at the box office and receive $1 off gameday ticket prices. Pregame ceremonies include a game ball delivery by the 101st Airborne Army Screaming Eagles Parachute Team. There will also be a special naturalization ceremony where approximately 50 candidates will be sworn in as American citizens. The first 4,000 fans through the gates will receive fireworks prism glasses courtesy of Golf & Games.
The Redbirds are also offering a special Independence Day Special Package for Saturday. Fans will receive a club level ticket and access to an all-you-can-eat buffet from 5pm-7pm for $37.
