Rays Raise Money for CMN on Comcast Bobble Head Night as Team Hosts Florida Tonight

South Carolina Stingrays News Release


The Stingrays held on for a 2-1 victory last night against the Gwinnett Gladiators, their first win in Gwinnett since March 26, 2006. Chris Chaput and Travis Morin each tallied a goal, while Davis Parley turned aside 32 shots for his 19th win of the season. Florida, meanwhile, fell in a shootout to the Columbia Inferno last evening, 3-2.

Tonight is Comcast Bobble Head Night and the "Makin' Noise for the Girls and Boys" Children's Miracle Network Fundraiser. The first 2,500 fans to enter the Coliseum will receive their free Nate Kiser Bobble Head Doll. The Stingrays will also be wearing specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game in a raffle auction. Tickets for the raffle auction can be purchased for just $1 each and can be placed in the box of the player's jersey that you would like to win. Doors open tonight at 5:30 p.m. for Season Ticket Holders and at 6 p.m. for the general public.
