Fresno Falcons News Release
Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that rookie center Oren Eizenman has been loaned to the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League. In additional moves, the Falcons have signed defenseman Brian O'Hanley, who is expected to make his professional debut tonight in Stockton, and released defenseman John Curley.
This is the second AHL recall this season for Eizenman, who appeared in one game with the Milwaukee Admirals last month. Eizenman leads the Falcons this season in both goals (27) and points (66). The first-year center out of R.P.I. is fifth among all ECHL rookies in points.
O'Hanley joins the Falcons after playing his college hockey at Boston College. The 23-year-old appeared in 110 games with the Eagles, scoring six goals and adding 18 assists. O'Hanley was selected by the San Jose Sharks in the ninth round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He was part of the Boston College squad which advanced to the National Championship game in each of the last two seasons.
Curley appeared in four games with the Falcons, and did not register a point.
The Falcons take on the Stockton Thunder tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Stockton Arena. Catch all of the action on 790 ESPN Radio, The Deuce, starting with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show at 7:15.
