Ray Schultz Reassigned By Islanders

BRIDGEPORT, CT – The American Hockey League's 2001-02 Regular Season Champion and Eastern Conference Playoff Champion Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the reassignment of Defenseman Ray Schultz to the team by the Islanders.

Schultz has 28 penalty minutes in four games with the Islanders, as well as one goal, three assists, four points and 58 penalty minutes, leading all players on Bridgeport's active roster, with the Sound Tigers this season.

The Sound Tigers will host the Saint John Flames tonight at 7:05 p.m. and the Worcester IceCats Friday at 7:35 p.m. They will visit the Albany River Rats Saturday at 7 p.m. in their final game before the AHL All-Star break. All Sound Tigers' games are broadcast live on "The ZONE" FOX Sports Radio 1300 and at www.soundtigers.com. WSTC/WNLK 1400/1350 also broadcasts road games.
