Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Wednesday released right wing Gregor Baumgartner.
Prior to being assigned to the East Coast Hockey League's Pensacola Ice Pilots on Oct. 31, Baumgartner had been a healthy scratch for the Griffins' first seven games. He has appeared in 34 games with Pensacola, scoring 33 points (18-15-33).
