
Bears Launch Frosted Face-Offs Breakfast Cereal

HERSHEY, Pa.â The HERSHEY BEARS®, celebrating their 65th season in the American Hockey League and their inaugural year at GIANT CenterSM, are pleased to unveil the official cereal of the HERSHEY BEARS, FROSTED FACE-OFFS. BEARS goaltender Phil Sauve, Captain Brent Thompson and Coco the Bear are featured on the limited edition boxes.
FROSTED FACE-OFFS, a corn flake cereal, will be available at GIANT Center starting on Saturday, February 8, when the BEARS face the Philadelphia Phantoms at 7 p.m. The cereal will be available for purchase in the concourse at section 125, while supplies last. FROSTED FACE-OFFS will hit the shelves at GIANT's HLLY stores on Sunday, February 9.
BEARS Sauve and Thompson are thrilled about the project. "I am excited and honored to be chosen to be on FROSTED FACE-OFFS," replied Thompson.
"It is an honor to be a part of something that has never been done before here in Hershey. I hope our fans like what's been done here," said Sauve.
FROSTED FACE-OFFS is a joint partnership with the HERSHEY BEARS, Clear Channel Broadcasting and GIANT Food Stores Inc.

The product is a result of the hard work of many people and truly a work of art," said Vikki Hultquist, Director of Event Marketing & Entertainment for HERSHEYPARK Sports & Entertainment Group. "With the help of Clear Channel Broadcasting and GIANT, this is a prime illustration of how we have strived to raise the bar on marketing the HERSHEY BEARS," continued Hultquist.
Clear Channel Broadcasting and GIANT Food Stores were instrumental in the creation of FROSTED FACE-OFFS.

"FROSTED FACE-OFFS is just another great example of the partnership between GIANT Food Stores and Hershey Sports and Entertainment over the last 12 years," said Denny Hopkins, VP of Advertising and Sales Development for GIANT Food Stores.
Assisting in the cereal launch is the lovable BEARS mascot Coco. Coco will host "Breakfast with Coco" on Saturdays 10 a.m.-12 p.m. throughout February and March at the following GIANT Food Stores:
