St. Croix reassigned to Columbia

Today the Manitoba Moose announced that defenceman Chris St. Croix has been reassigned to the Columbia Inferno of the East Coast Hockey League.

St. Croix, 23, had played in 10 AHL games with Manitoba this season. The sturdy defenceman registered no points with 12 penalty minutes and 10 shots while with the Moose. He was recently recalled to Manitoba on January 11 and saw action in six contests out of the last nine matches.

He has played the majority of the 2002-03 season with Columbia. In 31 ECHL games, the 6'3" defenceman accumulated five goals and 15 assists with 69 penalty minutes. At the time of his recall, he was second among Inferno defencemen in scoring and had notched two power play tallies and one game-winner.
