Bulldogs Pay Tribute to Hamilton 2010 Commonwealth Games Bid Committee

The Hamilton Bulldogs will be paying tribute to the hard work of the Hamilton 2010 Commonwealth Games Bid Committee, with a special ceremonial face-off prior to the Bulldogs' Friday, January 31st home game at 7:30 p.m. versus the Manitoba Moose.

Among the special guests for the evening will be former Commonwealth Games medalist swimmer Joanne Malar and athletics participant Paula Schnurr, who each are members of Commonwealth Games Canada. Also in attendance will be many of the dedicated volunteers and staff of the Hamilton 2010 Commonwealth Games bid team, who will now be bidding internationally, as Canada's candidate city to host the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Hamilton.

The Hamilton Bulldogs support the efforts of the bid team and wish them success in bringing the games home to Hamilton in the summer of 2010.
