Wisconsin jumped out to a 4-0 lead after scoring once in the third and three times in the fourth. Caleb Moore doubled in Beloit's only run of the game in the bottom of the fourth. The Timber Rattlers added two runs in the sixth and one in the seventh to lead 7-1. Moore had two of the five hits for Beloit, both of them doubles. Snappers starting pitcher Brian Duensing suffered his first loss of the season after going five innings, striking out a season high eight batters.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers hit the road for a three game series with the Burlington Bees, April 13-15. Beloit returns home for a four game series with the Peoria Chiefs April 17-20. The first pitch on Monday, April 17 is set for 6:30 pm, at Pohlman Field.
