Rangers Select Brent Pedersen with First Round Pick

Head Coach and General Manager of the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club Steve Spott has announced theteam's first round pick in the 2011 Priority Selection is Brent Pedersen of the Waterloo Wolves.

Pedersen tallied 34 goals and 18 assists in 49 games for the Waterloo Wolves Minor Midget during the 2010-11 regular season and playoffs.

Rangers' scouting had this to say of Pedersen, he is a skilled player that will provide some needed scoring on the left side. Pedersen's size allows him to take the puck to the net.
