Owen Sound Attack News Release


The Owen Sound Attack has concluded the middle portion of the 2011 State Farm OHL Priority Selection and has made the following selections in rounds eight through eleven.

Round Eight: The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that they have selected forward Brycin Morrison with their eighth round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection. Morrison spent the 2010/2011 season with the South Central Coyotes Minor Midget AAA team. In 62 games played, the 5'08, 145lb sniper notched 31 goals to go along with 35 assists and 56 penalty minutes.

Round Nine: The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that they have selected defenseman Kevin Sarazzin with their ninth round selection in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection. Sarazzin, a 6'1, 170lb stay at home blue liner notched 4 assists and 101 penalty minutes in 46 games played with the Markham Waxers Minor Midget AAA hockey club.

Round Ten: The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that they have selected 6'1, 200lb defenseman, Alex Annecchiarico in the tenth round of the 2011 OHL Priority Selection. The no-nonsense defenseman notched 3 goals and 8 assists to go along with 65 penalty minutes in 33 games played for the Vaughan Kings Minor Midget AAA squad.

Round Eleven: The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that with their eleventh round selection in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection they have selected Grey Bruce Highlanders winger and Owen Sound native, Zachary Coulter. Zachary, the 5'10, 175lb grandson of Frank Coulter (member of the Attack ownership group) notched 23 goals and 24 assists in 54 games with the Highlanders in the 2010/2011 season.
