Attack Round Out 2011 Priority Selection

The Owen Sound Attack has closed out the 2011 OHL Priority Selection with four picks in the last four rounds (12-15).

Round Twelve: The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to have selected Stefano Pezetta of the Markham Waxers with their twelfth round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection. Pezetta, a 5'11, 175lb forward from Markham notched 21 goals and 12 assists in 53 games for Markham last year.

Round Thirteen: The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that they have selected J.D. Sterne of the North Central Predators with their thirteenth round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection. Sterne, a 6'02, 166lb forward turned defenseman tallied 6 goals and 6 assists to go along with 34 penalty minutes in 52 games played.

Round Fourteen: The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that with their fourteenth round selection in the 2011OHL Priority Selection, they have selected forward Marco Azzano from the Clarington Toro's Minor Midget AAA team. In 36 games last season, the 5'11, 160lb forward scored 16 times, while adding 11 assists and 40 penalty minutes.

Round Fifteen: With their fifteenth round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection, the Owen Sound Attack picked up defenseman Jonathon England of the Welland Minor Midgets. The 5'11, 160lb native of Welland picked up 3 goals and 5 assists in 25 games played last season.

With the Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection now complete, the Attack find themselves with 16 new prospects. Nine forwards, five defenseman and two goaltenders made the list of Attack hopefuls.
