Rangers Finalize Roster

New York, October 3, 2008 -- New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has reassigned defensemen Brian Fahey and Corey Potter to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL). The Rangers now have 24 players on their opening night roster, including three goaltenders, six defensemen and 15 forwards. New York kicks off their 2008-2009 regular season schedule tomorrow, October 4 at 12:00 PM EST when the team faces the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Bridgestone NHL Premiere in Prague, Czech Republic.
