Houston Aeros News Release

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros begin their 15th Anniversary Season tonight in the first of two exhibition games against the San Antonio Rampage. The game will begin at 8 p.m. at the Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center (SLICE) and tickets are just $10 at the SLICE pro shop. An autograph session will be hosted after the game in the main lobby and a free public skating pass will be included with a ticket purchase. For general questions and directions to the arena please call the pro shop at (281) 265-7469.

Aeros broadcaster Joe O'Donnell caught up with the Aeros' General Manager Tom Lynn prior to Friday's tilt against the Rampage. The two discussed (among other things), the Wild training camp, Aeros prospects, and the expectations and goals for the upcoming season. The video interview will be posted on AEROS.com later today.

This series against the Rampage marks the seventh consecutive pre-season series the teams have played. During the 2007 pre-season the Aeros defeated the Rampage in both contests.

The regular season begins Saturday, October 11 at Toyota Center when the Aeros will take on the Chicago Wolves. Tickets are available for opening night by calling (713) 974-PUCK or going online to AEROS.com.
