NET GAINS: David LeNeveu made 53 saves Saturday night against Houston, collecting his second shutout of the season. He eclipsed his own season-high record of 50 saves set Feb. 21 at Peoria.

THE DYNAMIC DUO: Joel Perrault and Yanick Lehoux have been very successful since joining the Rampage (Mar. 9). Perrault has registered six points (1-5=6) in five games, as Lehoux has collected five points (4-1=5) in five games. Combined they have tallied plus-12 in their five games. They played on the same line in juniors for two years from 2000-02 with Baie-Comeau Drakkar of the QMJHL.

DEFENSE DELIVERS: Rampage defense has been impressive throughout the month of March. They are 80% on the penalty kill allowing only 10 powerplay goals in 50 attempts. The Rampage have only allowed 16 goals in eight games throughout March while scoring the same amount. In the previous five months, the Rampage have averaged -15 goals per month.

Ice Chips

- SEEING DOUBLE: Houston fired 94 shots at Rampage goaltenders in a weekend home-and-home, but was shut out by both David LeNeveu (53 saves) and Karl Goehring (41 saves). The back-to-back shutouts are a first in franchise history.

- RAMPAGE GET LUCKY: The Rampage wore St. Patrick's Day-themed jerseys Saturday night and raised $11,500 from the auction following the game to benefit the Spurs Foundation. Jakub Koreis' jersey won the high bid of $900 followed by LeNeveu's at $850.
