McLean returned on loan to Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, PA - Center Kurtis McLean has been returned to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) on loan, it was announced Monday by Penguins CEO Jeff Barrett.

McLean, 25, has appeared in 27 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, recording 12 points (3+9) and a plus-5 rating.

The 5-11, 175 pound native of Kirkland Lake, Ontario began the season with the Nailers, recording 46 points (25+21) and a plus-20 rating in 35 games before being recalled to Wilkes-Barre on January 11.

McLean was signed by the Penguins as a free agent on Sept. 29, 2005.
