WOLF TRACKS
--- The Wolves open a four-game home stand on Wednesday; Chicago will play eight of its remaining 13 games at the Allstate Arena, where the squad has accrued a 13-16-2-1 mark this season.
--- Chicago's win on Saturday marked its first on the road this season when trailing after two periods (1-12-1-0).
--- Eight of Chicago's 11 goals last week came during the third period (72.7 percent); the Wolves are outscoring their opponents, 75-74, during the final stanza this season.
--- Chicago has lost each of its last six contests decided by one goal; overall, the team has accrued a 9-9-3-8 mark in games decided by one marker.
SHORT CUTS
The Wolves have posted a short-handed goal in three straight games; Chicago paces the AHL with 13 shorties on the road and ranks second with 17 overall, two shy of matching a franchise record.
