The Hamilton Bulldogs play two games this week, beginning on Wednesday, March 22 when they host the Milwaukee Admirals (41-19-6-2) at 7:30 p.m. The Bulldogs then travel to Syracuse to face the Crunch (41-21-4-2) on Saturday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m.

TEAM/Player Notes

- The Bulldogs are the only AHL team that has not lost in overtime this season. Hamilton has three overtime wins and has a record of 5-4 in shootouts this season.

- LW Brad Winchester is on a five-game point streak, collecting nine points (5g-4a). Winchester leads the Bulldogs with 24 goals and 15 power-play goals.

- RW Andrei Kostitsyn, who has missed the last two games due to injury, has 11 points (4g-7a) in his last nine games.

- D James Sanford and C Francis Lemieux each had their three-game point streaks snapped on Saturday, March 18 in the Bulldogs 5-1 loss to the Rochester Americans.

- D Dan Smith leads the team with a +12 rating.

- The Bulldogs take on the Admirals for second and final time this season.

- In the first meeting of the season on November 16, Milwaukee defeated Hamilton 3-1.

- The Admirals sit in second place in the West Division with 90 points.

- Milwaukee owns the AHL's third ranked power play, which is currently operating at 20.2% (96 goals on 476 opportunities).

- Admirals RW Darren Haydar is tied for eighth in league scoring with 75 points (25g-50a) in 68 games.

- Bulldogs LW Raitis Ivanans played two seasons for Milwaukee (2002-03, 2003-04), and won the Calder Cup with the Admirals in 2003-04.

- This will be the seventh meeting of the season between these two teams.

- The ‘Dogs have a record of 3-3-0-0 against the Crunch this season.

- Syracuse sits in second place in the North Division with 88 points.

- In the last meeting on February 24, five Bulldog players recorded multipoint games as the Bulldogs defeated the Crunch 6-5 in a shootout.

- Crunch C Mark Hartigan is tied for eighth in league scoring with 75 points (34g-41a) in 49 games. Hartigan ranks sixth in the league in goals and is tied for fifth with fifteen power-play goals.

- Syracuse D Andy Delmore leads all AHL blueliners with 61 points (15g-46a) in 58 games.

- Former Bulldog C Peter Sarno has 44 points (12g-32a) in 37 games with the Crunch this season.

Saturday, March 18 - Canadiens LW Garth Murray scored while D Francis Bouillon and C Mike Ribeiro each recorded an assist in Montreal's 5-4 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. - Oilers RW Fernando Pisani (1g-1a), C Shawn Horcoff (2a), C Jarret Stoll (1g) and D Marc-Andre Bergeron (1a) all collected points as Edmonton fell 4-3 in a shootout to the Detroit Red Wings. - Bruins G Tim Thomas made 38 saves and was named the game's third star as Boston defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2. Sunday, March 19 - Mighty Ducks D Francois Beauchemin collected one goal and one assist in Anaheim's 4-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

- Maple Leafs LW Chad Kilger scored on a penalty shot in the third period as the Maple Leafs defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 1-0.

Thursday, March 16

- LW Michael Lambert was reassigned by the Montreal Canadiens from the Long Beach Ice Dogs (ECHL) to Hamilton.
