San Antonio Rampage News Release
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, Nov. 11 vs. Iowa @ Wells Fargo Arena, 7:05 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 13 vs. Iowa @ Wells Fargo Arena, 7:05 p.m.
The Rampage and Chops split a weekend series in San Antonio October 25th and 26th. The Rampage bulldozed Iowa 5-1 before the Chops turned to ex- Rampage goalie David LeNeveu to sty- mie his former team. LeNeveu shut down the Rampage power play (0-8) and sent San Antonio into their current six-game winless streak.
Saturday, Nov. 15 vs. Peoria @ Carver Arena, 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage washed the Rivermen in last year's series going 6- 1-0-1, including 3-0-0-1 at Carver Arena. The Rampage averaged over four goals a game outscoring Peoria 33-18 in the process.
SHOTS FROM THE POINT 08-09
ONE MORE TRY: The Rampage had scored exactly one goal a game their last five games before scoring two goals vs. Quad City. It wasn't enough as the Rampage fell 4-2.
FAITH: Currently the Rampage sit last in the West Division. However, they're only three games back in the loss column to teams that would qualify for the Calder Cup Playoffs if the season ended today.
SPINNING THE WHEEL: In their current six game winless streak, the Ram- page have not scored a power-play goal going 0-30 in the process.
FREEDOM: With a bevy of recent roster moves, the Rampage are truly inter- national. Russia, Sweden, Canada and of course, the USA make up the home- town team.
Ice Chips: Adam Keefe
Number 27 in your program, number one in your hearts. Adam Keefe is unmistakable on the ice with his flowing locks and hard-nosed attitude. Never one to shy away from contact, this 4th year AHL pro plays bigger than his 5-10, 200 lbs frame would suggest he should.
After arriving via trade at the midway point last season, Keefe's attitude and toughness has endeared itself to his fans, teammates and coaches alike. Each season in the AHL Keefe has seen his playing time grow and is on track to do it again in fourth AHL season. The Brampton, Ontario native tallied his first goal of the season this past Sunday.
