Rewind:

Wednesday, Philadelphia 3 vs. DEVILS 1

The Phantoms' Jared Ross scored two goals, including the game-winner, to help down the Devils, 3-1, at the Tsongas Arena. A scoreless first period was followed by Patrick Maroon breaking the tie at 11:12 and Ross putting Philadelphia up by two just two seconds before the intermission. Though Alexander Vasyunov's first North American goal pulled Lowell within one at 1:44 of the third, Ross provided the insurance for Philly almost nine minutes later with his second of the night.

Friday, WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON 4 vs. Devils 0

The Penguins and goalie Adam Berkhoel recorded their second shutout in as many games against the Devils this season with a 4-0 win at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza. W-B/Scranton completed all of the game's scoring in the first 9:46 of the contest. Chris Minard notched two power play goals almost three minutes apart, while Ryan Stone made the score 3-0 at 9:02. Forty-four seconds later, Tim Wallace's goal chased netminder Dave Caruso from the match. Jeff Frazee came in for relief and was perfect in 23 shots against.

Saturday, BRIDGEPORT 5 (OT) vs. DEVILS 4

Two-goal efforts by both Patrick Davis and Alexander Vasyunov were enough to help the Devils gain a point in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Sound Tigers at the Arena at Harbor Yard. Davis and Vasyunov struck within the first 3:14 of the contest to stake a 2-0 lead for Lowell. Bridgeport, however, would go on to notch four unanswered goals and hold a 4-2 edge early in the second. Davis and Vasyunov would both light the lamp again before the break and knot the contest at four. After a scoreless third period, Kurtis McLean ended the battle in overtime, scoring the game winning goal 1:12 into sudden death.
