
Devils Call up Burton, Castonguay and Kell

LOWELL, Mass. - The Lowell Devils announced that forwards Tyler Burton, Eric Castonguay and Trevor Kell have been recalled on loan from Trenton (ECHL), while right wing Patrick Davis has been returned on loan from New Jersey (NHL).
Burton began his professional career last year in Lowell, following his senior season at Colgate University. The native of Vancouver, BC posted a goal and an assist in six games for Lowell. Burton has contributed six points (3g, 3a) in ten games this season with Trenton.
Castonguay, a 21 year-old left winger, is currently leading Trenton with 14 points (5g-9a) in 10 games. The team's point leader last season with 47 (20g, 27a), Castonguay is riding a nine-game point-streak and was a runner-up for ECHL Player of the Week for the week of October 27 to November 2. He was scoreless in two appearances with Lowell in 2007-08.
Kell's AHL debut with Lowell last season began with a five-game point-streak that saw him record two goals and five assists. In 2007-08 the Thunder Bay, Ont.-native skated in nine contests for Lowell and also had 36 points (16g, 20a) in 61 games with Trenton. This year, Kell has notched five goals and three assists in 10 games for the ECHL Devils.
Called up to New Jersey on Sunday, Davis skated in the Devils' 2-1 loss to Edmonton that evening. The third-year pro is currently tied for team lead in Lowell with five goals in 11 games and has also chipped in an assist.
