
Pirates Off To Record Start

The Pirates are off to their best start in franchise history with a record of 9-1-1-0. The nine victories mark the most the team has had in its first 11 games of any season. They have tied the franchise record, set at the beginning of the 1994-95 season, for the most points (19) through the first 11 games. The Pirates started 8-0-3 during the 1994-95 season.
MANCARI NAMED REEBOK/AHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Pirates right wing Mark Mancari has been named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending November 9th. Mancari tallied four goals and four assists for eight points in three games this past week, as the Pirates continue their winning ways atop the AHL standings.
He currently leads the AHL in points (22) and plus/minus rating (+14). In recognition of his achievement, Mancari will be presented with an etched crystal award prior to an upcoming Pirates home game.
STARS AND STRIPES JERSEY AUCTION
The game-worn Stars and Stripes jerseys worn by the Pirates players on Saturday night vs. Philadelphia will be auctioned off at portlandpiratesstore.com beginning today and ending next Monday, November 17th. Bids begin at $200.00 and proceeds benefit the Portland Pirates Foundation.

Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, ME
The Pirates next home game is next Friday, November 14th against the Albany River Rats in Lewiston. It will be one of two Pirates home games this season played at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston. The Albany river Rats

This Saturday, archrival Providence comes to town on this Labatt Blue Light Hockey Night. Fans can enjoy pregame Labatt Blue specials and prizes at The Stadium from 4:30 to 6:30.
