San Antonio Rampage News Release

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Friday, Nov. 7 vs. Milwaukee @ Bradley Center 7:00 p.m.

San Antonio looks to avenge their home opening defeat by return- ing the favor to Milwaukee at the Bradley Center. The Admirals spoiled the Rampage home opener with a 3-1 win.

Saturday, Nov. 8 vs. Quad City @ AT&T Center 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 9 vs. Quad City @ AT&T Center 5:00 p.m.

Quad City comes to San Antonio for a Saturday-Sunday weekend series as part of a three game stretch in three nights. Quad City is the top affiliate for the Calgary Flames. Last year was the inau- gural season for the Quad City Flames in the AHL. San Antonio took the series 4-3-0-1 in eight hotly contested battles. Not only did both teams score 22 goals each in the series, strangely, neither team fared well at home. San Antonio went 1-3 at home and 3-0-1 at the I-Wireless Center.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT 08-09

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE #1?: How about some hits and sticks. The Rampage rank #1 in penalty minutes with 34 per game.

FREE FALLIN': The Rampage dropped a spot but they didn't drop a goal last week. The AHL #2 team penalty killers have allowed only 5 power-play goals in 58 opportunities.

(HE'S) GOT THE LOOK: In the 2007 NHL Draft, the Phoenix Coyotes didn't use either of their two first round picks on Brett MacLean. But in the second round, with the second overall pick, MacLean joined the organization. The 19- year-old rookie from London, Ontario hasn't disappointed scoring in 6 of his last 7 games. Brett is tied for the team lead in goals and leads the Rampage in total points.

HALLOWEEN HOWL: This past Friday the Rampage led the league in atten- dance for Halloween night.

Ice Chips: David Schlemko

Currently the team leader in assists with six, defense- man David Schlemko is making an impact. This 21-year old rookie from Edmonton, Alberta definitely knows how to make friends.

All of Schlemko's points have come off assists and half his dishes have been served up on power-play goals.

What's not to like about David? Surely even Rampage opponents could trust a guy who has not recorded a single penalty this season, right? Schlemko is the only opening day roster player who has not been charged with a penalty.
