Rewind:

Wednesday, Devils 4 vs. MANCHESTER 3

Coming from behind twice, the Devils rallied for a 4-3 shootout victory on the road against the Monarchs. After trailing 2-0 going into the second period, the Devils found their legs with the help of Ryan Murphy and Michael Swift, who both netted goals within a minute of each other. The Monarchs would retake their lead just over five minutes into the third with a rebound goal by Jon Rheault, but the Devils had an answer with Brad Snetsinger's first pro goal. The battle was finally decided in a shootout with the Devils triumphing on the clincher scored by Patrick Davis in the bottom half of round five. Devils goalie Scott Clemmensen made 35 saves through overtime and went 3 of 5 in the shootout.

Friday, SPRINGFIELD 4 vs. Devils 1

Liam Reddox paced the Falcons offense with two goals as the Devils were defeated 4-1 at the MassMutual Center. It was the Devils striking first on Vladimir Zharkov's goal 2:10 into the game. The Falcons, however, would go on to score four unanswered goals as they outshot Lowell in the game, 39-19. Reddox provided the game-winner at 3:47 of the second with a shorthanded tally. His second of the night put the match firmly out of reach with 4:10 left in regulation.

Saturday, Springfield 3 vs. DEVILS 2

The Falcons were able to sweep the home-and-home weekend series against the Devils, pulling out a 3-2 victory on Lowell's home ice. This time it was Ryan Potulny potting two goals for Springfield, while the Falcons' penalty kill unit was a perfect 9-for-9 in the contest. Down 2-0 in the third, Patrick Davis pulled Lowell within one, but Potulny's second of the night with 3:31 remaining would prove to be the eventual game-winner. Lowell responded just 57 seconds later on Pascal Rheaume's marker, but could not manage to tie the game before time expired.
