SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 21, 2014) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled from loan goaltender Rob Madore from the team's ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Madore, 25, has spent the majority of his time this season with Cincinnati, where he is currently 12-9-0 through 22 games, posting a 2.85 goals against average and a .908 save percentage. He has posted two shutouts for the Cyclones. Through five games with the Rampage this season, Madore has gone 1-2-1 with a .906 save percentage and a 3.23 goals-against average.

The 5-foot-10, 176-pound netminder split time last year with the Evansville Icemen (ECHL), the Florida Everblades (ECHL), and the Charlotte Checkers in his second professional season. He made his professional debut with Chicago (ECHL) during the 2011-12 season, and appeared in five playoff games with South Carolina of the ECHL.

Prior to turning pro, Madore played four years (2008-12) at the University of Vermont and finished his career ranked second all-time in saves (3,352) for the Catamounts, behind only current Florida Panthers goaltender Tim Thomas.

The Rampage kick off their second three-in-three of the season tonight as they take on the Rochester Americans inside Blue Cross Arena in Western New York at 6:05 p.m. They travel further north on Saturday afternoon to face the Toronto Marlies before finishing up the weekend with a matinee against the Hamilton Bulldogs.
