Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat announced tonight that they have recalled forward Turner Elson from the Alaska Aces, the Heat's developmental affiliate in the ECHL.
Elson, a native of New Westminster, BC has played in 30 games with the Heat this season and has recorded two points (2-0-2), and 17 penalty minutes. In nine games with Alaska, Elson has recorded four points (2-2-4), and 14 penalty minutes.
The Heat finish up their current five-game road trip with a doubleheader on Saturday, February 22nd and Sunday, February 23rd against the Chicago Wolves. The Heat will be back in action on home ice February 29th and March 1st, against the defending champion, Grand Rapids Griffins.
