
Coyotes Send Rundblad to Portland on Conditioning Assignment

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned defenseman David Rundblad to the Portland Pirates, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL) for conditioning.
The 23-year-old Rundblad has recorded 0-1-1 with six penalty minutes (PIM) in 12 games with the Coyotes this season. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound native of Lycksele, Sweden has registered 1-8-9 and 12 PIM in 50 career NHL games.
Rundblad was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the first round (17th overall) in the 2009 Entry Draft.
