San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO (November 23, 2009) - The San Antonio Rampage fan base will be especially paw-erful this Saturday when the team hosts the Milwaukee Admirals at the AT&T Center at 7 p.m., as fans are encouraged to bring their dog to this special game.
The Rampage parent company, Spurs Sports & Entertainment, in conjunction with the Animal No Kill Initiative, have joined forces to find 'forever homes' for every companion pet in the San Antonio community.
Festivities for the Rampage's first of two Pucks & Paws Nights during the 2009-10 season will begin at 6 p.m., at the AT&T Center, with a pre-game costume contest behind section 114. All dogs must be on a leash, accompanied by an adult and will be directed to enter through the Bud Light Courtyard on the west side of the arena, where a water and relief station will be located throughout the evening.
An adoption station will be set up along the concourse where fans will have the chance to take home a four-legged friend and help support the Animal No Kill Initiative.
The fun will continue during the Rampage game as "Charming Canine Clips" (submitted by fans) will be shown on the lighthouse scoreboard during timeouts, dachshunds will race between periods and select dogs will have the chance to ride on the Zamboni during intermissions. Details regarding fan submissions of videos of their canine companions can be found at sarampage.com.
Tickets are $20 (includes a $15 human ticket and $5 dog ticket) in which all $5 dog ticket proceeds will benefit the Animal No Kill Initiative.
For more information or to purchase tickets call 210-444-5554 or visit sarampage.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the AT&T Center Southeast box office. The box office is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and at 10 a.m. on weekend event days.
