Canadiens Recall Sergei Kostitsyn From Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that forward Sergei Kostitsyn has been recalled to the Canadiens from the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Kostitsyn, 22, ranks second on this Bulldogs in points this season with 13 (four goals, nine assists) and has served two penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 210-pound left wing has played in 108 career games with the Canadiens registering 50 points (17 goals, 33 assists) and 115 penalty minutes. The native of Novopolotsk, Belarus was Montreal's 7th round, 200th overall selection in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

The Bulldogs host the Rochester Americans on Tuesday, November 24th at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum.
