San Jose Sharks Reassign Forwards Benn Ferriero, Ryan Vesce And Logan Couture To Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned forwards Benn Ferriero, Ryan Vesce and Logan Couture to the Worcester Sharks, the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Ferriero has played in 20 games with San Jose this season, posting two goals and three assists.

The five-foot ten, 185-pound native of Boston, Massachusetts was signed by San Jose as a free agent on Sept. 1, 2009.

Vesce has played in seven games with San Jose this season, posting five points (three goals, two assists).

The five-foot-eight, 165-pound native of Lloyd Harbor, NY was originally signed by San Jose as a free agent on Aug. 2, 2008.

Couture has played in 11 games with the Sharks, posting two points (one goal, one assist).

The six-foot-one, 195-pound native of London, Ontario native was originally selected by San Jose in the first round (9th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
