Today's Game: Tonight's inter-divisional contest continues the Rampage's five-game road stand, marking the second stop in the trip... This is the Rampage's second longest of the season (till February when the team vacates for the Stock Show & Rodeo)... Tonight's game marks the first time the Rampage play against an East Division team... The Rampage sit 4th in the West Division with a 6-6-2-0 record (14 pts.) and are 2-4-1-0 on the road.

Against Norfolk Admirals: Tonight's game marks the lone road trip to Virginia for the Rampage this year... It's the first meeting (of four) between the two clubs this season... San Antonio is 0-0-0-0 so far this season against the Eastern Conference, while going 6-6-2-0 overall this season... Serge Payer leads the Rampage with 7 points (1-6-7) in 16 lifetime games against Norfolk.

Miscellaneous Notes:

300 CLUB: Head Coach Steve Ludzik will be seeking his 300th career victory when the Rampage travel to Norfolk. Coach Ludzik has a 299-223-36-48 career coaching record.

FAMILIAR FACE: Rampage Defenseman Burke Henry returns to Norfolk where he spent 113 games in the past two seasons. After spending time with the Chicago Blackhawks organization, Henry signed with the Panthers as a free agent on July 23, 2004.

BACK IT UP: The Rampage will play back-to-back games beginning tonight against Norfolk. So far this season, the team is 4-0-0-0 after two sets of back-to-back games. The Rampage have 16 total back-to-back sessions slated for the 2004-05 season. The Rampage went 9-13-2-0 last season in back-to-back contests.

ROOKIE ON A RAMPAGE: Greg Jacina ranks in the top ten in four rookie statistical categories...T-3rd in goals (5), T-5th in power play goals (2), 2nd in shooting percentage (.208), and T-9th in points (8).

THE WEST WING: Entering tonight's game, San Antonio has played 11 games against a team in the West Division. The Rampage, who are 5-4-2-0 against their division rivals, are slated to play 56 contests against their division foes this season. In addition, San Antonio will face two Atlantic Division opponents (HFD, WOR) totaling four games, one East Division opponent (NOR) for four games and five North Division opponents (EDM, MTB, CLE, ROC, SYR) totaling 16 games. The Rampage, were 21-32-7-0 in 60 games against West Division opponents last season.

AUTUMN OPTIMISM: In their first two seasons the Rampage have gone a combined 8-6-7-2 in the month of November accounting for 25 points in 23 games for a .543 winning percentage. In 2002-03, San Antonio went 4-3-5-2 and followed that with a 4-3-2 record in 2003-04.

GREAT SCOTT!!!: Travis Scott is currently the active-leader in AHL career shutouts. He has 21 in 260+ career games while Maxime Ouellet is in second place with 18. Scott's last shutout came against Syracuse on November 5, 2004 (5-0) at the SBC Center...The Rampage goalie set a franchise single-game record by saving 56 shots in a 4-2 victory over Cincinnati last season (Oct. 16, 2003)

Nov. 13, 2004 San Antonio 2 @ Grand Rapids 3 at Van Andel Arena

The Rampage gave up two goals in a 28-second span in the first period but came back in the second with goals from Gregory Campbell and Joel Kwiatkowski. Campbell scored on assists from Filip Novak and Nathan Horton, who tabbed his first career AHL assist. Grand Rapids' third goal midway through the third frame proved to be enough to edge the Rampage.
