Chistov's two goals power Ducks past Wolves

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Stanislav Chistov scored a pair of power-play goals and Joffrey Lupul and Joel Perrault each had two assists to lead the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 4-3 victory over the Chicago Wolves Friday at Cincinnati Gardens.

Sheldon Brookbank and Pierre Parenteau also scored for Cincinnati, which rallied from a 2-0 second-period deficit to snap a seven-game losing streak.

Shane O'Brien earned an assist on Parenteau's game-winning tally 13:05 into the third period to extend his point streak to a career-high three games (1-3-4).

Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 15 shots in the win for Cincinnati, which won for the first time this season when outshooting an opponent (1-6-0-0).

Derek MacKenzie, J.P. Vigier and Lonny Bohonos scored for Chicago, which has won just one of its last six games (1-4-0-1).

Adam Berkhoel, a University of Denver product, made 28 saves in the loss for the Wolves in his AHL debut.

The Ducks and Wolves complete a two-game, home-and-home series tonight at 8:00 p.m. at Allstate Arena.
