TORONTO - Breaking The Ice, a five-part feature focusing on the Hamilton Bulldogs, airs for five consecutive evenings on sportsnetnews beginning Monday, November 22 at 6:00 p.m. (ET- East region)/ 6:30 p.m. (ET - Ontario)/ 8:00 p.m. (MT)/ 7:00 p.m. (PT) and also at 10:00 p.m. (ET/MT/PT).

The feature, produced by Michael Zitney, takes viewers behind the scenes and on the road with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.

The following are some of the highlights of the sportsnetnews feature:

. A look at James Sanford and Matt Shasby, two players on the bubble at the Bulldogs training camp

. Lunch and bowling with Russian-born player Andrei Kostitsyn and Latvian-born team enforcer Raitis Ivanans who has taken Kostitsyn under his wing to help him as he adjusts to the language and culture of North America

. A high-stakes poker game on the team bus

. Candid comments from Hamilton head coach Doug Jarvis, a former NHL star and the reigning iron man, as he is wired for sound before and during a Bulldogs game

. Defenseman Ron Hainsey gives a post-game wrap up in Rochester
