Hershey Bears News Release

The River Rats host HERSHEY at Pepsi Arena in Albany tonight as the BEARS look for two points before beginning a three-game homestand Saturday against Bridgeport. After winning 4-1 at Hartford last Wednesday night, the BEARS have dropped three in a row after a narrow 2-1 loss at Norfolk two days ago.

Peter Budaj is expected to start tonight for HERSHEY. The third year pro has a 3-5-0 record in eight decisions entering play this evening. Tonight's game will also mark the debut of forward Carl Corazzini in a HERSHEY sweater. Corazzini was acquired on loan Monday from the Providence Bruins in exchange for defenseman Darrel Scoville. Left Wing David Masse is also expected to make his first appearance of the season in a BEARS uniform. Masse was recalled Thursday from the Reading Royals (ECHL). In a corresponding roster move, the BEARS assigned right wing Cail MacLean to Reading.

Tonight's game can be heard on 1460-AM and 1390-AM as well as on www.pennlive.com. John Walton calls the action from New York's Capital District beginning at 6:40 p.m. with the pre-game festivities.
