On Wednesday, Philadelphia extended its winning streak to 11 games with a 2-1 shootout victory over Binghamton... Manitoba opened the MTS Centre with a 4-2 win over St. John's in front of 15,015 fans... On Thursday, Mathieu Garon recorded his league-leading fourth shutout of the season as Manchester rolled past Worcester, 6-0... Chicago scored four times in a 108-second span of the second period to defeat Grand Rapids, 6-2.

LOOKING AHEAD:
San Antonio continues a five-game road trip with contests in Norfolk on Friday night and Saturday afternoon... Stephen Weiss has been held scoreless in the last three games, but he is still the Rampage's leading scorer with 11 points this season... Greg Campbell and Juraj Kolnik are each one point off the team lead... The Admirals, who are 1-3-0 all-time in the regular season against San Antonio at Scope, are 5-1-0-0 on home ice this season, with all six games decided by a single goal... Norfolk goalie Craig Anderson (7-1-1) has not lost a game in regulation this season... The Admirals play eight straight on the road after the weekend.

Cleveland has won three in a row entering its home-and-home series with Grand Rapids this weekend... The teams opened the 2004-05 season against each other on Oct. 15, with the Griffins earning a 3-2 shootout win... Marcel Goc scored seven goals in his first six games for the Barons this season, but has since gone nine games without finding the net... Grand Rapids, coming off a nine-game homestand, is a perfect 3-0-0-0 on the road this season... Griffins defenseman Niklas Kronwall has one point in November after recording 10 points in seven games during October.

Winners of six in a row, Rochester battles Houston at the Blue Cross Arena on Friday night... The Aeros, who have never lost to the Amerks in six tries (0-3-3), are in the midst of a four-week stretch in which they play 13 of 15 on the road; they're 5-5-0-1 so far... Rochester's David Cullen, who won a Calder Cup with Houston in 2003, is one off the AHL lead among defensemen with nine assists this season... The matchup also features two former Hobey Baker Award winners in the Amerks' Ryan Miller (2001) and the Aeros' Junior Lessard (2004).
