Nathan Lukes hit an RBI double to drive in Bernard, tying it up at 1-1. The Bisons had runners on, but could not get a groundout ended the inning.

With Spencer Horwitz placed on second base, Davis Schneider drew a walk to start extras. A groundout advanced Horwitz and Schneider to scoring position. Jordan Luplow brought Schneider in with an RBI sacrifice fly giving Buffalo a 2-1 advantage.
