After a LPegends rally to cut an 11-2 lead down to two runs, West Virginia added six in the seventh to seal the win for Eliecer Navarro. Casey Sadler pitched the final two and a third for his fourth save of the year. Three different players drove in four runs each in the Power victory.

HOME FINALE: The Power conclude their 2011 home schedule tonight against the Legends. Monday's win guaranteed that West Virginia will finish this season with a winning home record for the first time since 2008, the final year of the Brewers affiliation. The Power are now 34-32 at home this season with after having gone 34-35 at Appalachian Power Park last season and 33-34 in 2009. The last road trip of the year sends West Virginia to Delmarva over Labor Day weekend and starts on September 1.

FULL THROTTLE: One day after reaching on a season-high 19 hits, West Virginia amassed the most runs they have scored in any game since the affiliation with Pittsburgh began in 2009. The Power's 17 run outburst Monday was the most by the club since August 8, 2008 against Hickory while still affiliated with Milwaukee. West Virginia beat the Crawdads 17-1 that day.

FANS DIG THE LONG BALL: Andy Vasquez hit two home runs in Monday's win to become the first Power player this season to have a multi-homer game. Thirteen different players hit at least one home run for West Virginia this year, and Vasquez became the first player since Kyle Morgan on June 16, 2009 at Hickory.

POWER V LEGENDS: West Virginia has played Lexington more than any other team dating back to the 2005 season. The Power lead the all-time series 72-64, but the Legends have a winning record at Appalachian Power Park with 34 wins in 67 games (34-33). West Virginia, however, leads this series at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington, going 39-30 on the road at Lexington since 2005.

RECORD HIGH OF ZEROS: West Virginia pitchers worked their 12th shutout of the season on Sunday to extend their club record. The Power worked their 11th shutout of the season on August 11, surpassing the previous season high of 10 combined shutouts by the 2006 club when the Power were still affiliated with Milwaukee. Since the association with the Pirates began in 2009, West Virginia has pitched 27 shutouts over nearly three seasons compared to 29 during the four-year Brewer stint.

DOWN THE STRETCH WE GO: West Virginia has six games remaining this season and the Power are one win under the club's total from the 2010 season and three under the 2009 tally from the first year as a Pirates affiliate. The 2010 version went 65-74, batted .274, and held a staff ERA of 4.39, while the 2009 edition was 67-70 with a .262 team average and a 4.18 ERA.

STILL ONE AWAY: Rogelio Noris has 24 career home runs for West Virginia over nearly two seasons in a Power jersey. Noris has matched Stephen Chapman for the most home runs in any player's Power career. Chapman hit a single-season record 24 home runs in a Power uniform in 2007. Noris, however, has not hit a home run since July 15, a span of 25 games and 102 at bats.
