The West Virginia Power lost 4-2 on Tuesday night to the Lexington Legends at Appalachian Power Park. The Legends used two two-run innings to claim the win in the final game of the season series between the clubs.
Lexington took a 2-0 lead against West Virginia starting pitcher Porfirio Lopez in the top of the first. With two outs, Domingo Santana singled and Telvin Nash walked. Mike Kvasnicka followed with a double off the left-center wall.
The Power bats were held in check by Legends starter Ruben Alaniz and the bullpen until the fifth inning. One night after scoring 17 runs on 17 hits, West Virginia managed its first two runs on three doubles against reliever Alex Sogard. Elias Diaz led off the inning with a two-base hit and scored on a double by Kevin Mort. One batter later, Drew Maggi doubled home Mort to tie the game at two.

Roberto Pena singled, advanced to second on a ground out, and moved to third on a wild pitch. Delino Deshields Jr. doubled in Pena for the eventual winning run, then later scored on a Santana single for a 4-2 Lexington lead.
