Norfolk Admirals News Release
NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announce the eighth annual Pink in the Rink to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure is scheduled for next Saturday, January 17, when the Admirals host the Hartford Wolf Pack at 7:15 p.m.
Norfolk Scope Arena's ice crew will dye the ice pink in preparation for next Saturday's showdown with fifth-place Hartford. The colored rink and the occasion itself symbolizes the Admirals' support in the fight against breast cancer and the search for a cure. In partnership with the Tidewater Chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the Admirals aim to raise awareness of this disease and funding for research by donating a percentage of each discounted ticket purchased through the Tidewater Chapter's website at komentidewater.org. Red-Level tickets are available at the reduced price of just $13. This event has sold out the past two years, so secure your seat now by visiting komentidewater.org and clicking the link associated with Pink in the Rink in the "Affiliate Spotlight" section of the website's home page.
The Admirals continue a four-game road trip Friday night against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:05 p.m. followed by a back-to-back set with Hershey this Saturday and Sunday.
