Stars Sign Eric Faille to a Tryout

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today they have signed forward Eric Faille to a professional tryout agreement.

The 25-year-old Faille (FIGH) is currently in his first professional season, posting 32 points in 32 games for the ECHL's Fort Wayne Komets with 16 goals and 16 assists. The 6-foot, 180-pound forward spent the previous four years at the University of Moncton, where he tallied 114 points (46 goals, 68 assists) in 95 career games.

The Lachine, Quebec native is a junior product of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, competing in 256 games over a four-year stretch, scoring 198 points (77 goals, 121 assists).

Texas begins a three-game homestand on Friday, when they host Iowa at 7 p.m.
