Canucks Recall Frank Corrado from Comets; Bobby Sanguinetti Reassigned to Utica

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the Canucks have recalled defenceman Frank Corrado from the AHL Utica Comets and have reassigned defenceman Bobby Sanguinetti.

Corrado, 21, has played 21 games with the Utica Comets in the 2014.15 season, collecting eight points (4-4-8) and 17 penalty minutes with a +/- rating of plus-three. In his career, Corrado has played 18 NHL games and collected one goal (1-0-1).

The Woodbridge, ON, native made his NHL debut in the 2012.13 season was originally selected by Vancouver 150th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Sanguinetti, 26, has played 27 games with the Utica Comets this season, recording 17 points (8-9-17). He has played 45 career NHL games with the New York Rangers and the Carolina Hurricanes, collecting six points (2-4-6) with eight penalty minutes.
