Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will try to take the rubber game of their three-game set with the Pawtucket Red Sox on Sunday afternoon. First pitch from McCoy Stadium is set for 1:05 p.m. Sunday marks the final game before the All-Star break which will go through Wednesday.

LHP Anthony Vasquez (4-3, 5.01) gets the ball for the Pigs in the series finale. Vasquez got a no-decision on Monday at Rochester when he gave up three runs on six hits to go along with a pair of walks and a pair of strikeouts in five innings of work. The southpaw will be making the first start of his career against Pawtucket.

RHP Steven Wright (2-4, 3.60) will be on the bump for manager Kevin Boles' squad on Sunday. On Tuesday against the IronPigs at Coca-Cola Park, Wright was tagged with the loss as he allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits while walking one and fanning two over six innings of work.

In his Triple-A debut on Saturday, Ethan Chapman went 2-4 with a triple and a run scored in the game. Chapman was signed by the Phillies as a minor league free agent on June 22. He had previously spent time in the Royals organization.
