(Pawtucket, RI) - Lehigh Valley catcher Logan Moore's three-run home run highlighted a four-run seventh inning and starter Anthony Vasquez tossed eight-plus scoreless innings as the IronPigs blanked the Pawtucket Red Sox, 4-0, to win the three game series before 6,199 fans at McCoy Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Blake Swihart, continuing an MLB rehab assignment for Boston, caught the first seven innings and batted three times, going 0-for-3 with a ground into double play. The PawSox (39-52), who had won Saturday to snap a 12-game losing skid, head into the Triple-A All-Star Break having lost 13 of their last 14 contests.

Pawtucket starter Steven Wright (2-5) blanked the IronPigs on just three hits through six innings, but then permitted four runs and six knocks during the decisive seventh. Cord Phelps' one-out RBI single started the scoring, and Moore struck one batter later with his first Triple-A home run that made the score 4-0.

Vasquez (5-3) allowed only three hits through eighth innings, then issued a walk and a single to begin the ninth and was lifted in favor of closer Adam Loewen. Loewen escaped the jam by retiring three straight batters to record his fifth save of the season.

Quintin Berry, Rusney Castillo, Allen Craig and Mike Miller each collected one of the PawSox four base hits. Chase d'Arnaud reached base four times for Lehigh Valley on two hits and two hit-by-pitches.

Wright was charged with his fourth-consecutive loss after allowing four runs on nine hits in seven innings of work. Zeke Spruill (eighth inning) and Dayan Diaz (ninth inning) each blanked the IronPigs for one inning in relief.

The PawSox will now enjoy three three days off for the Triple-A All-Star break. Outfielder Jackie Bradley, Jr. will represent Pawtucket in the All-Star contest while Manager Kevin Boles will serve as a coach for the International League team in the game that will be played in Omaha, Nebraska on Wednesday night.

The PawSox head on the road for eight contests following the break to Durham and Norfolk. They then return to McCoy Stadium on Friday, July 24th to begin a six-game homestand with three games against Buffalo. Good seats are still available at the McCoy Stadium box office, by calling (401) 724-7300 or by visiting pawsox.com.
